-This is so curious by your fans. Your real name is Ramone Johnson. What’s the story about name of ‘Ca$his’, your fans want to hear?

-Yeah, that’s my government name lol… I got the name Cashis, from being confident and backing up what I say… It was a neighborhood thing, that stuck with me.

-What’s the difference between Ca$his and Ramone?
CA$HIS;
-Ramone is crazy… I have a hard time controlling him. Which lead to a lot of delays in my Lp. due to the legal process in California. Cashis, is the coolest dude ever… A true star, who enjoys and embraces his celebrity

status.

-Do you tell us something about your story before pass beyond your music? How was the going the way with Rikanatti? How did it happen to meet with Shady Records?
CA$HIS;
-I wasn’t interested in rap before. Only as a fan, and Rikanatti, along with a host of others, convinced me, that I was born to MC… And 1 demo tape later, I was the Capo of Shady Records.

-Ok, here is the questions about your rap life. I love your style that called gutter-style. What made you want to rap? Why did you move it?

-Thank u!… I wanted to rap to truly enlighten the masses worldwide to my struggle, and to have them identify with the street culture, that we all are apart of, in some way, shape, form or fashion…

-I want to ask you in my personel great interest in about ‘Loose Cannon Mixtape Vol. 2: Blacc Jesus’, because i really love that, i dont know what are your other fans thinking. But i know they really want to get the

chance to know that. Many freestyles in it, Young, Blacc and Crazy, could you tell me something about your mixtape album ‘Blacc Jesus’ ?

-That record is dope… I was in a serious zone, and was freesylen everything I touched…It’s funny, becuz, after that, my personal life started slipping away. Now, I’m bacc ferocious, and my new mixtape, bbg vol 6 star

chief, is bacc to that format. I’m haven fun again, and the listeners will truly enjoy the material. No holds barred this time.

-You making great products, your last singles ‘Just Another Day’ and ‘Bigga Than Me’ are really good tracks. Will the new single take out before your album ‘The Art of Dying’ ?

-Mos definitely.  And if you liked those traccs, ait til u hear the new 1′s… We were leaking out teasers b4.  Keeping the public interest high, and now that everyone feels what they expect from me…I’ll soar above their

heads, and raise the expectancy levels, this time around.  We r creating Rap’s Thriller.  No album will ever match the record sales of MJ’s Thriller. But, in terms of quality… Em is Q. Jones, and Cash is M. J., and we’ll

scrap a hit record and mixtape it, jus to replace it with THE HIT RECORD…feel me… I’m extremely tough on myself, and will release no less than the album of the year… No braggen or boasten, jus reality….Everyone

knows I’m humbled with humility, but checc my words and delivery, passion and and drive, and you can agree, that I have never let you down b4, and I improve each record/mixtape/single…

-T.A.O.D. is a masterpiece, Em gave me the best beats ever! Trust me, and I returned the favor with the rhymes, hooks and patterns! Hold me to my words ya’ll…please.  My release date will become official, after 50

drops his LP. Em, 50, Cashis from The Shady side.  And u know Dre and Bishop from our Aftermath side..

-Which track is going to be the first official single of album and who will be productor of it?

-I can’t leak that info, jus yet.  Due to the protocol of the business.  We try and move silently to surprise the fans… But, it’s major record!

-What is the most important thing in your career?
CA$HIS;
-Respect… Cuz when the money is low, and nothing is going right….If u have earned ur respect on the mic…everything will b alright…Trust me… I have earned the respect of fellow artists, label execs and most

importantly, the fans in my career. I cherish that more than the million…lol

-Do you have anything that you want to do, but you cant?
CA$HIS;
-that word isn’t in my vocabulary… There are certain things, I am yet to do… Like release a platinum solo LP.   Already dropped a classic EP…

CA$HIS;
-Not afraid of anything but turnen my bacc on God. As long as I stay true in his word… I’ll remain true to me, which is a G..Everything else is in my control…

-Has rap made any difference in your life?
CA$HIS;
-Yes, indeed… It made me grow up…And become mature. Street Rules don’t allow 4 that.  So Ramone and Cashis bumped heads alot, until we agreed to let Cashis keep our income coming in at a high rate and fast

pace… It’s alot of jealousy and fear out of respect in this industry. So, I’ve learned, to not take people for face value…

-We seeing you in great high priced cars, what do you consider to buy the car, would you like to drive your car by yourself or driver?
CA$HIS;
-I love to drive!  I don’t really trust other people’s driving skills.  I know, I can get us there safely…no matter what. Plus, why have fly ride, and be on the scrub side? ya know

-What are inspire you while writing lyrics? What is taking you under the influence?
CA$HIS;
-My life, and the creative challenge of taking the beat in a different direction that forms a perfect marriage with the words, and my delivery… I’m under the influence of Kush…At all times..

-Besides hip-hop, are there any other music genres that influence you?
CA$HIS;
-R and B, and some of the older Rock stuff.. I like the struggle, the pain, the clarity and the celebration of it all..

-What do you think about depart of Bobby Creek?
CA$HIS;
-Good 4 him… He wanted to be his own man, and thought he was limited in his exposure here. He chose to pursue other options, he feels would benefit him more… I respect that… But, I ain’t goin nowhere buddy…lol..

-After you get past the fan side…It’s jus like being in the lab with Rikanatti.. I get free range to do the songs I want, and we all enjoy them….

-Have you think come to Turkey for concert or something? We’re waiting for you actually. When do you think come, if you thinking?

-Yeah, I had issues with traveling for a minute, due to 3 seperate legal situations, plus prior convictions… But, I’m cleared up now…. Should b in Turkey by January, after I leave Japan… I’ve heard alot from fans in

Turkey, and I can’t wait to come give you a guys a masterpiece of a performance..

Q: What’s good with the Shady Capo? Thanks for doing this interview with HHiH.

No doubt fammo. I’m still breathing and I’m healthy, so, I’m surviven to the best of my ability.

Q: What have you been up to lately?

I’ve been kinda restricted to stayen in Cali, for certain circumstances, which won’t allow me to be permitted travel outside of the state right now. So, I’ve been an extreme herbivore, along with hitten the gym alot, doin hella cardio, cleanen my smoked out lungs, so that I’m able to give the best performance, everynite I perform. Spending a lot of time with my babies, and providen for them.

Q: Let’s talk about your upcoming debut album. You changed the name from Lose Cannon to The Art Of Dying. How would you describe the album?

You will literally watch me die. I’ma spoil it for errbody, and let you know that I die in the end lol. It’s an album, that the day to day person, can relate to the whole way. No over gangsta cliche rap, no I wanna be the most baccpaccinest baccpaccer, no, I wanna tricc off on females, and waste my rent money at the club stuff… Jus real life. My real Life.

Q: What guest features and producers do you have on the album?

Rikanatti, Khalil, Reef, Jake 1, Neffew, Eminem and a few others, but, I don’t know the names of the producers, but I do know the beat! As for rappers, zero as of yet. I have the traccs, that made the album, so, now I am reachen out to the artists that I feel will match the records. And I have everyone confirmed, with no problem. I will deliver some of the names in our next interview

Q: Can you confirm any of the track names?

I haven’t named them all yet. They are sequenced in order tho.. “Miana” is a record, named after my first child, and it is the record that takes the listener into another zone, of believing in what I do. Em produced that. It’s the deepest, non corny record I’ve ever heard. Honestly. “Grinden” is abot to drop, and alot of folks been anticipaten that record, Matt Alonzo, get the camera crew ready G, cuz it’s gametime! And my ghetto quaran version of where I’m from, titled “Get Out The Way.” I flipped up names to protect my freedom, and not to dry snitch on these wimpy weak girly-boys. And I have “Goodbye 2 Me,” over a Konvict beat. But, the main thing is, the beats never overshadow the words. It’s a classic LP, that shows my depth as a person and as an artist.

Q: You recently put out the single “Jus Anutha Day.” How has the response been on this?

It’s been great! Shout out 2 Angela Yee for being the first one to run with it. I appreciate that for life. It’s a Khalil tracc, and I didn’t know it was a Khalil tracc til it was leaked out. That record was sposed to be on Loose Cannon, it was recorded in early 07, and it’s even more relevant today, in my opinion.

Q: Will you put out any more singles before the album drops?

Without a question I will. We will be filming videos and really doing the big push. I jus had to let the consumer know, that I’m still here, and although you may not have heard me droppen a million mixtapes and songs, like I did previously, I haven’t turned against what I know, I just been caught up in day to day liven. And I thank everybody for supporten the record. It’s getten to be everywhere now. I truly appreciate the support.

Q: And the big question. Around when do you think the album will be released?

We’ve been waiten for the re-emergence of Shady, so now that he’s bacc with a release date, we can set 50’s date, and then my date. By the end of september at the latest, I will have CD’s in the marketplace. Atleast, that’s what I’m told from the bosses. And if they lie to me, they lie to the public, and we don’t tolerate liars round here, at this label. Em, 50, Ca$his. Checc Em’s Billboard Mag interview, he says it himself.

Q: Are you working on any other new projects you can tell us about?

I have 227 The Album, comen out 7-28-09 Digitally thru Bogish Brand Entertainment, distributed by INgrooves/Universal. And every quarter for one calendar year, I will release a project under that imprint. I’m tryna get that Flo-Rida money… lol for real, also Mitchy Slick and I are doing a group LP called Gang Terms. It’s exactly as G as the guys rappin on it. We recorden it in The Yay Area. It gives me a breath of fresh air, and a break from doin what’s required of me for my family’s survival. I jus go and record, and Mitchy and my bro bro Big Will, keep me tippen while I’m there. So, it’s all love. And Myself , Young De, Kadillak Kaz, Preme, and some of the BBG extended family, are doing Homeland Security “Border Control” I have several offers for that project also, so, once it’s recorded, we’ll sell it to a label, and let them push it out to the masses.

Q: Will you be doing any touring this year? Maybe go overseas for a few shows?

Most Definitely, Japan, Italy, The UK, Australia, Canada, Dubai, tour dates are already contracted, I can’t travel out of the country again, until a few situations are resolved bacc home first. What can you do, but take it as it come to you.

Q: I’m sure a lot of people would want to know this. Have you heard any tracks off of Eminem’s Relapse?

I’ve only heard what the fans heard. I want it to be a surprise to me, because I am a fan first. I anticipate a classic LP.

Q: What do you think it will be like?

I can only assume that it is his best work. Because The King Mathers LP, was the best album I have heard, and with him scrappen that for newer material, it can only mean, that he is in a musical zone.
