Eminem bir sürpriz yaparak kendi radyo istasyonu Shade45 SiriusXM’den bu yılki VooDoo Festival’ine katılacağını duyurdu. Ayrıca Relapse 2′i tamamlamak için stüdyoda olduğunu ve albümün Eylül, Ekim gibi çıkacağını belirtti. Geçen yılki VooDoo Festival’ine Lil Wayne, R.E.M., Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails gibi isimler katılmıştı.

Eminem made a surprise appearance on his Shade45 SiriusXM station where he annonced he will be performing at this years VooDoo Festival in New Orleans on Halloween. Saying that this will be his only live performance this year, Eminem went on to say that he is currently in the studio finishing up the second “Relapse” album. Although he didn’t have a release date for the new album, Eminem did say that he expects it will hit stores in the fourth quarter (September-December). Eminem went on to confirm that he recently shot the video for his next single “Beautiful,” and it should be hitting everyone soon.

It was reported earlier this week that the group Widespread Panic would headline the festival, although that might change as  Eminem is a bigger name. The yearly experience will enter it’s 11th year showcasing New Orleans music, culture, arts and cuisine. Last year’s concert included performances by Lil Wayne, R.E.M., Stone Temple Pilots, Nine Inch Nails and more.
